Al-Mussaib Technical Institute holds a course on chemicals and safety in chemical laboratories<\/strong><\/p>\n

The course included:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Introduction to chemicals<\/strong>
– Definition of chemicals and their types (liquids, gases, solids).<\/strong>
– Reading and understanding chemical safety data (MSDS).<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Safety in chemical laboratories<\/strong>
– Basic safety rules in the laboratory.<\/strong>
– Good practices for working in the laboratory (such as maintaining cleanliness and order).<\/strong>
– The importance of using protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and masks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Hazard control<\/strong>
– How to identify potential hazards (such as toxic, flammable, and explosive materials).<\/strong>
– How to reduce risks while handling chemicals.<\/strong>
– Methods of storing chemicals safely.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Emergency procedures<\/strong>
– How to act in the event of accidents (such as leaks or chemical burns).<\/strong>
– The importance of having rescue means such as eye washers and first aid centers.<\/strong>
– Contacting the competent authorities in emergency situations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Present in the training course: Hadeer Amer, instructor Safa Nihad, and instructor Shaima Alawi, with the participation of a number of students from Al-Mussaib Technical Institute.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
