The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at Al-Mussaib Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held a training course on social stigma and its social and psychological effects. The course included the basic concepts of social stigma, its definition and types, as well as the difference between stigma, bias and discrimination, and the causes of social stigma. The course also addressed the effects of social stigma, its psychological effects, and its impact on personal and family relationships, as well as the role of institutions and individuals in combating social stigma.
