{"id":15267,"date":"2025-07-08T11:19:59","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T08:19:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ims.atu.edu.iq\/?p=15267"},"modified":"2025-07-08T11:20:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T08:20:00","slug":"training-course-on-sustainable-development-in-the-field-of-soil-water-and-land-reclamation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ims.atu.edu.iq\/?p=15267&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Training course on sustainable development in the field of soil, water and land reclamation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The Al-Mussaib Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held a training course entitled &#8220;Sustainable Development and its Uses in Soil, Water, and Land Reclamation,&#8221; with the aim of raising environmental awareness and disseminating concepts of sustainable natural resource management.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The course included several topics, most notably:<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&#8211; Introduction to the principles of sustainable development and their scientific applications.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&#8211; Protection of soil from degradation and enhancement of its productivity.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&#8211; Rationalization of the use of water resources in agricultural activities.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&#8211; Reclamation of degraded lands using the latest environmental methods and technologies.<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The course was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsen Abdullah, with the participation of a group of institute members.
