The Department of Mechanical Technology at Al-Mussaib Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held a workshop on smart training and the use of technology in education. The workshop included:
1. Introduction to smart training
– Understanding the concept of smart training and its importance.
– Understanding smart learning tools and techniques.
– Acquiring skills to design digital educational content.
– Effectively integrating technology into the educational process.
2. Comparison between traditional training and smart training
3. The role of technology in developing education
– Creating an engaging learning environment and learning about platforms (Google Classroom, Nearpod, Udemy, Blackboard, Moodle)
4. Interactive presentation tools and instant interaction
– Creating dynamic, interactive presentations
– Engaging the audience through surveys, interactive quizzes, idea sharing, and video clips, allowing interaction via their devices (Canva, Prezi, Mentimeter, Kahoot, Padlet)
5. Artificial intelligence tools in education
The workshop was attended by Ali Hamid Muhammad Saeed, a lecturer, and a number of institute staff and students.
