The Water Resources Techniques Department at Al-Mussaib Technical Institute, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific training course titled:
“Environmental Pollution: Types, Sources, and Negative Impacts.”
Course Topics Included:
1. A historical overview of pollution and the components of the ecosystem
2. Classification of pollution based on the nature of the environment or ecosystem
3. Classification of pollution based on the type of pollutant
4. Classification of pollution based on the source
The course also addressed the impact of pollution on public health and human well-being, along with other negative consequences associated with environmental degradation.
