The Al-Mussaib Technical Institute, a member of the Middle Euphrates University of Technology, organized a large-scale tree-planting campaign across the institute’s gardens and corridors as part of its efforts to raise environmental awareness and increase green spaces on campus.
The campaign saw the participation of the Institute Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Malik Nima Hawas Al-Khazraji, along with department heads and a number of staff and students, who actively contributed to planting saplings and trees in various areas of the institute.
During the campaign, Dr. Al-Khazraji emphasized the importance of environmental preservation and encouraged students to engage in voluntary initiatives, noting that tree planting is not only for aesthetic purposes but also helps improve the climate, reduce pollution, and promote environmental sustainability.
The campaign received enthusiastic participation from students, who expressed their happiness in taking part and affirmed their commitment to contributing to a healthy and clean university environment.
