The Civil Engineering Techniques Department at Al-Mussaib Technical Institute, part of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a training course entitled “Introductory Course in Surveying.”
The course addressed fundamental topics in surveying science, including an introduction to surveying instruments, modern measurement methods, surveying techniques, as well as practical applications required in engineering projects.
The program aimed to enhance participants’ skills and enable them to correctly apply surveying technologies, thereby improving practical performance within the institute and supporting the quality of future engineering projects. The course witnessed positive interaction from trainees, reflecting the importance of the subject and the need of engineering staff for such training programs.
Lectures were delivered by Dr. Ammar Abdulameer Hussein, Mr. Mustafa Hamed Jassim, and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Mahmoud Hassan, with the participation of several institute staff members.
