Al-Mussaib Technical Institute welcomed an official ministerial committee, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Aziz Ali, Director of the Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The delegation was received by the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Malik Neama Hawas Al-Khazraji, along with the assistant deans and heads of scientific departments.

The visit came within the framework of monitoring the academic reality and infrastructure of the institute, with on-site inspections of classrooms and scientific laboratories. It was part of ministerial plans aimed at establishing new medical departments and exploring the possibility of transforming some existing scientific departments into a Polytechnic College, in line with labor market needs and modern scientific developments.

The inspection tour included a comprehensive review of laboratories and available equipment, assessing their readiness in terms of space, facilities, and capacity, as well as evaluating the technical and human resources available to support the anticipated academic expansion.

For his part, the Dean of the Institute presented a detailed overview of the current departments and future development plans, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to enhancing academic and educational standards and providing a suitable university environment that contributes to graduating qualified technical and medical cadres to meet societal needs. He noted that these achievements are made possible through the continuous support of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and the Vice Presidents Professor Dr. Ahmed

Ghanem Wadai, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Mujtomi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Aziz Ali.

At the conclusion of the visit, the ministerial committee praised the efforts of the institute’s administration, faculty, and staff, stressing the importance of continuing to support development and expansion projects to strengthen the institute’s academic standing and its role in supplying health and technical institutions with competent professionals.
