Since the establishment of the Department of Financial and Banking Technologies at Al-Furat Al-Awsat University/Al-Musayyab Technical Institute, the Department has been established as a result of the urgent need to prepare banking cadres capable of performing outstanding work and advancing the financial sector in Iraq, making it a leading sector in the national economy. This goal aims to enable graduates to keep pace with progress, equip them with the latest developments, enhance their capabilities and skills to achieve their desired goals, and qualify them to perform their duties in the labor market efficiently, making them an important addition to financial and banking institutions.

To create a financial and banking sector built on banking institutions capable of meeting the demands of the labor market and finding ways to support and develop the country's economy, achieving economic prosperity.

Preparing an academic generation with scientific and technical qualifications, distinguished by quality and skill, in accordance with academic standards and established objectives. This is designed to meet the demands of the labor market in the banking and financial sector, keep pace with modernity and innovation, and support scientific research with everything that is beneficial and useful.
Department Objectives:
1. Preparing specialized staff in financial and banking technologies.
2. Providing the banking and financial sector with everything that contributes to raising its level and improving its services.

4. Enhancing students' ability to perform the tasks necessary to work in the banking and financial sector.
