Festival on the occasion of the week of psychological counseling and educational guidance

On the occasion of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Week, Al-Mussaib Technical Institute held a festival in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Malik Nima Hawas Al-Khazraji, Dean of Al-Mussaib Technical Institute, and a number of affiliates and students.

The festival began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of our righteous martyrs, and a speech by Dr. Al-Khazraji welcoming the attendees.

He spoke about the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Week under the slogan “Together towards Better Mental Health” and about the importance of the festival and its pivotal role in supporting students and guiding them towards achieving their personal and academic goals and providing them with the necessary support to create a healthy educational environment that encourages growth and development.

The festival also included a speech by the head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, Muhannad Karim, in which he spoke about the challenges facing young people, whether academic, psychological or social, and the importance of psychological counseling in supporting them and helping them overcome obstacles, achieve success, and develop psychological and social capabilities, as well as the importance of cooperation between the family and the university to ensure the achievement of goals. The ceremony included an explanatory video presentation of the work of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, poems by the poets participating in the festival, and a theatrical scene entitled The Messenger of Peace, the Awaited Imam Mahdi (PBUH), and some theatrical scenes about addiction and electronic blackmail that threaten society, in addition to presenting works, paintings and awareness posters for students. At the end of the festival, Dr. Al-Khazraji, Dean of the Institute, expressed his thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the festival, appreciating the efforts of the employees, affiliates and students who spared no effort in presenting a bright image of the Institute.
