Course Objectives

The department aims to prepare technical personnel with knowledge in plant breeding and improvement, tissue culture propagation, field crop production, greenhouse construction and cultivation, shade house building, seedling production, fruit tree and ornamental plant propagation, garden design and landscaping, pest and disease control, beekeeping and honey production, and farm management.

Graduate Job Description

Work in plant tissue culture laboratories
Plant breeding and improvement in agricultural fields
Seedling production and propagation of fruit, forest, and ornamental plants
Protected agriculture in greenhouses and tunnels
Garden design and landscaping with various plants
Beekeeping, apiary management, and honey production
Field crop production and marketing
Plant protection and pest control
Farm management, cost and profit analysis
Grain silo lab operations and seed purity testing
