Human Rights Unit

The Human Rights Unit is one of the administrative formations at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University – Al-Mussaib Technical Institute. It reports directly to the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs. The unit is dedicated to promoting a culture of human rights, reinforcing the principles of justice and equality, and safeguarding human dignity within the academic environment. Its mission aligns with the constitution, applicable laws, and the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.


Objectives of the Human Rights Unit




  • Promoting a culture of human rights among students, faculty members, and staff.




  • Organizing seminars, workshops, and training courses related to human rights.




  • Commemorating international occasions such as Human Rights Day.




  • Issuing awareness bulletins and materials on rights and responsibilities within the campus.
