Al-Mussaib Technical Institute is considered one of the oldest educational institutions in Babil Governorate, as it was established in 1979 on an area of land estimated at 1193 acres to be the cornerstone for the establishment of the first agricultural institute in the Middle Euphrates, which includes four agricultural departments that represent the nucleus of the basic formation of this institution.. Then after that, five engineering departments and two administrative departments were created… This institution took continuous development to be followed by the creation of the Medical Devices Department in 2020 to become the sixth engineering department… After that, the institute created the Medical Laboratories Department as the first medical department in this formation… The institute graduated dozens of courses that represented important cadres in state institutions and the private sector.
It is an educational institution that seeks to prepare support staff needed by various state institutions, as these staff are scientifically and technically qualified and represent the intermediate cadre capable of solving many problems and investing scientific material in finding radical solutions.. In addition to cognitive and applied mastery and performance proficiency that adds significant development to the tasks assigned to them.
The basic and strategic objectives of the institute lie in improving the scientific level and providing a better environment for (students, faculty and employees) and preparing the requirements of plans and programs that ensure the use of available resources (material, financial and technical) in improving the overall performance of the institute, by supporting scientific research and researchers who publish their scientific research in solid global containers and developing the university environment in the institute by increasing green spaces and irrigation and watering channels to add attractiveness to the student and affiliate.
