As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to enhance the academic and scientific standards in educational institutions, a specialized ministerial committee visited Al-Mussaib Technical Institute, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, to evaluate the academic and scientific status of the medical departments for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The committee was composed of:
• Prof. Dr. Ali Ghanem Kati
• Prof. Dr. Saman Akad Hashim
• Lecturer Ismat Issam Shaker
The committee was received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Malik Neama Hawas Al-Khazraji, Dean of the Institute, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant, several heads of medical departments, and a group of staff members.
The visit included a field tour of classrooms, scientific laboratories, the central library, and various divisions and units. During the tour, the committee reviewed the infrastructure and the readiness of the medical departments. They also assessed the academic programs, faculty qualifications, and mechanisms for ensuring academic quality.
The committee commended the institute’s administration for its efforts in developing the educational environment and providing essential resources to support students and enhance academic progress. They emphasized the importance of continuing to apply scientific standards that align with labor market demands and recent developments in medical and health technologies.
