The Electrical Technologies Department at Al-Mussaib Technical Institute organized a scientific field trip to the hydroelectric station in Al-Sadda, as part of its practical activities aimed at enhancing students’ hands-on experience and linking theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in electric power generation systems.
During the visit:
• The station’s staff provided a detailed explanation of the mechanism of turbines and electric generators
• Demonstrated the process of converting water energy into electrical energy
• Clarified the control and protection systems used in operating the station
The students showed great interest in the information presented, asking numerous technical questions that reflected their eagerness to expand their practical knowledge and benefit from field expertise.
This trip is part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to provide a comprehensive educational environment that combines academic learning with practical training, contributing to the preparation of qualified engineering professionals for the labor market.
