Graduates of the Department of Electrical Technologies / Power Branch are qualified to work in the operation and maintenance of electrical power systems across the generation, transmission, and distribution sectors, within both governmental institutions and the private sector. They are capable of performing the following tasks:

  1. Operating and maintaining electrical units in power generation plants of various types.

  2. Operating and maintaining electrical transmission systems, including transmission lines and substations.

  3. Working in electrical distribution networks, maintaining distribution and power transformers, and network components.

  4. Maintaining and testing devices and equipment used in electrical power systems.

  5. Executing installation and maintenance of underground and overhead cables in accordance with technical specifications.

  6. Participating in electrical installations and lighting systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

  7. Using measurement and testing devices to diagnose and repair electrical faults.

  8. Applying occupational safety standards and ensuring quality in the work environment.

  9. Working effectively within teams and maintaining technical communication with related staff.
